Description
18th century late Baroque mirror featuring a faceted, slightly grey-green blue glass plate mounted on a wooden background. The vertically oriented rectangular form terminates in a shaped crest with stepped shoulders. The upper section of the glass is decorated with a deeply cut North Star motif. The perimeter of the glass is contained and secured by a narrow, continuous bronzed metal border.

Condition: Structurally stable. The item exhibits minor scratches, inherent glass defects, and general wear commensurate with age. An older repair is present at the bottom edge. The reflective surface displays typical age-related degradation and desilvering. -
