19th Century Northern European Mirror With Crowns

Description
A large and decorative mirror made in Northern Europe during the 19th century. The mirrors design features a Baron’s coronet framed by acanthus leaf scrolls on a tooled or “pounced” ground. This design is first seen in the late 17th century. This probably started out as a frame but often paintings of old wealthy Barons get separated from their beautiful frames.
