Description
One of a kind, rustic Tramp Art wall mirror from the late 19th century in Austria around 1890. This rural wall mirror has been effortfully hand carved out of basswood and comes with a dark brown stained surface in great original condition. Highlighted with a doubled frame and additionally adorned by unusual handcarved bars on the outside, the main frame impresses with an elaborate made chip carved design. An absolute fantastic example in our highly demanded Tramp Art mirror collection. The metal clamp on the backside makes wall mounting easy. The mirror plate has been renewed during restoration.
