Charming rustic black Forest wall mirror from the period in Austria around 1880. Artfully hand carved out of basswood, this exceptional rural mirror impresses with its gorgeous carved frame in the style of tree branches, slightly protruding corners and beautifully gilt bars on the inside which build a fantastic contrast to the super dark brown, almost black looking surface. A real amazing looking, unusual designed Black Forest mirror from the late 19th century in Austria.
