Beautiful rustic Tramp Art wall mirror from the the late 19th century in Austria. This unique carved wooden mirror has been artfully handcrafted in the period around 1880 out of basswood and comes with a fantastic looking brown surface sealed with a semi gloss varnish finishing. Beside the extraordinary protruding corners, this highly decorative tramp art mirror impresses with its great worked chip carved design - made in the so-called "notch cut" technique. The mirror plate has been renewed during the restoration process. A hand forged metal ring on the back makes wall mounting easy.
