Sensational early 20th century sunburst wall mirror from the Art Deco period in France around 1920. This elaborately worked round mirror impresses with its artfully handcrafted foliage design made of composition gilt sheet metall. The gaps between the bigger lovely curved leaves on the outside are filled with smaller ones which creates this incredible effect of a burning sun. With a diameter of 26.4" this fantastic looking antique mirror confers every room an exceptional flair. A real beauty of an early 20th century french sunburst mirror. The mirror plate itself has a visible diameter of 9".
