Cristal Arte Large Grey Mid-Century Wall Mirror, Italy, 1970s

$ 2,200
  • Description
    A stunning double-levelled 42" high wall mirror from the 1970s, made in Italy by Cristal Arte / Crystal Arte. This elegant mirror, designed in a vertical format (42.5 x 18 inches), features a primarily rectangular shape with gracefully curved sides. It consists of two parts: a grey (with a subtle brownish hue) smoked glass backplate, and a rectangular mirror glass with beautifully beveled edges. In very good vintage condition with no damages.
    Cristal Arte was an Italian design company founded in Turin in 1944, renowned for its high-quality glass and mirror creations. Especially active during the 1950s to 1970s, the brand became known for its elegant, innovative designs, often combining colored glass, mirrored surfaces, and refined craftsmanship — in the spirit of Fontana Arte and mid-century Italian design.
