An English painted wood freestanding cheval mirror from the 19th century, with oval mirror plate, curving base and casters. Born in England during the 19th century, this lovely cheval mirror features an oval plate surrounded by a linear frame. The tilting mirror is connected to two upright supports, topped with triangular finials. Painted in a soft cream color, the ensemble is raised on down-curving legs resting on casters. Its lovely proportions and light painted finish will make this English 19th century cheval mirror an excellent choice to accentuate any bedroom or lady's dressing.
