Description
Franz Hagenauer table top mirror with a pair of hands embracing the mirror as if it were a person, very ingenious, a stunning design by the master Viennese sculptor.
Franz Hagenauer like his brother Karl designed beautifully hand crafted objects for the home. The company was called Wiener Hagenauer Werkstatte, there work shop was in Vienna Austria where they worked from 1898 till 1987 when the work shop closed. In the time that the company was in business they produced the most creative and original sculpture of the 20th Century. -
