French Painted and Gilt Narrow Mirror, Late 19th C.

$ 2,450
  • Description
    Elegant late nineteenth century French painted and gilt narrow mirror, exhibiting refined neoclassical influences and decorative craftsmanship. The slender frame is surmounted by a finely carved double-handled urn resting upon a plinth, creating a striking architectural crest. Below, a long rectangular mirror plate is enclosed within a molded gilt surround, enhancing the piece's graceful proportions and luminous presence.

    The painted and gilt finish, together with the classical ornamentation, lends the mirror an air of timeless sophistication. Ideally suited for a hallway, powder room, or placed above a console, this elegant mirror brings both light and decorative interest to any interior.
