Formanova was born from the creativity, passion and spirit of resourcefulness of Gianni Moscatelli.
Born in 1930, the youngest of six brothers, he has been working at a well-known industrial furniture complex in Brianza area since the age of thirteen.
In 1959, after having obtained a diploma from the Higher Institute of Design, and having demonstrated over the years strong skills in drawing and planning, he founded the company, creating a line of products, first armchairs and chairs, then furniture, desks and board tables.
Objects with a design with pure and functional lines, made with skill using precious essences, steel, fabrics and natural leathers.
Products defined as 'timeless', coming from the past but still considered cutting-edge today. -
