    An Elegant and Timeless French Mid-Century Modern Gilt and Hand Hammered Wrought Iron Mirror in the style of the French 40's wrought iron master Gilbert Poillerat circa 1945-1955. The mirror is a rare, transparent and balanced work of ironwork and mirror art. The piece is detailed with subtle, balanced rhythm and movement of it's elements along its sides and top creating a romantic aesthetic. In addition, the sides along the mirror are lined with a braided rope design giving the mirror depth and the top is finished with sea shell symbolizing life and beauty. In all, an exquisite hand made object for the home.
