Jacques Adnet 'Rectangulaire' Wall Mirror for GUBI.
Originally designed by Jacques Adnet in the 1950s, this incredibly refined mirror is executed in high quality black aniline leather and studded with burnished brass rivets on the edges, a characteristic detailing of the famed French designer's work.

French designer Jacques Adnet (1900 - 1984) was an architect and Art Deco Modernist designer and an icon of French Modernism. In 1925, Jacques Adnet was recognized as one of the most promising young designers at both the Salon d'Automne and Les Expositions des Arts Décoratifs.
In addition to designing furniture and mirrors, Adnet designed apartments and offices for numerous clients. As a true member of the avant-garde in his time, he was an innovative thinker and original in his choice of form and materials. Adnet remains among the most revered French designers; his work is highly sought after by collectors.
