By leading figure in contemporary architecture French Isabelle Stanislas, who was included in 2019 in the exclusive group of 100 international Interior Designers chosen by AD USA as well as by ELLE Decor USA, the 'Ellipse' High Mirror incarnates the designer’s ‘artistic philosophy of structure’, in other words her desire to create a design that aims at a form of quintessence. Both concise and striking, this luminous mirror with pure lines affirms itself with power and personality through simple geometric shapes and a minimalist palette of colors and materials. Rethinking the function, it is produced in bronze-colored patinated brass and includes an asymmetric shelf and drawer made of white Estremoz marble from Portugal with a matte effect. Isabelle Stanislas’ ‘Ellipse' High Mirror is exclusively produced and sold by Galerie BSL in a limited edition of 8 pieces + 4 artist proofs.
Isabelle Stanislas was chosen by Le Mobilier National (French national authority regarding state furniture since the 17th century) as well as by Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron to renovate the formal reception rooms of le Palais de l’Elysée (French Presidential Palace). She is featured in the book published at Rizzoli’s by Marie Kalt & AD France entitled ‘The New Chic: French Style from today’s leading interior designers’.
