Description
A larger scale French gilded mirror from the Louis Philippe period. This mirror has a wide moulded frame decorated with a continuous border of alternating raised stripes of faded gold with hints of red bole base coat showing through creating a richly charismatic contrast of colours. The frame is in superb original condition with no damage or losses. The glass mirror plate is the original, virtually blemish free with good clear reflection. Original backboards.
