Description
Mid-Century Modernist Shadowbox Mirror with Reversed Etching in Smoked Rose
$4,475.00
This beautiful Mid-Century Modernist Shadowbox Mirror in Smoked Rose originates from Italy, Circa 1950. Featuring a shield form octagonal border in a wide band of inward facing smoked rose glass with elegant reversed etched detailing precisely incised on the reverse of the glass. The etching contrasts beautifully with the highly geometric construction of the mirror. Each segment of the border as well as the central panel of mirror glass has beveled edge detailing, adding intrigue and complexity while reflecting at a variety of angles. The blending of geometric and minimal design with adornment of the etched detailing and the sumptuous hue of the rose glass border creates an elegant and breathtaking visual experience. Beautifully made in the highest quality materials, this piece will style beautifully in a wide array of interiors and design settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal interiors.
