An elegant 19th-century Venetian-style parclose mirror featuring a central octagonal mirror plate framed by hand-etched and beveled glass panels. The pierced foliate crest and shaped apron are richly decorated with engraved floral motifs, while delicate rosette mounts accent each glass intersection.
Retaining its original mercury-silvered mirror plates with desirable age-related foxing and patina, the mirror exhibits the luminous character and craftsmanship that define fine Venetian glasswork. A sculptural and highly decorative statement piece, it brings depth, light, and timeless elegance to any interior.
