Pair of wooden ebonised and tortoiseshell trompe l'oeil painted mirrors, moulded ripple-carved frames of stepped rectangular form, each enriched with six rectangular tortoiseshell imitation painted panels set at the mid-points and corners of the surround. Italy, 19th c.
