White Oak - Harvested in Indiana, the wood is brought to New Mexico to dry in our solar kilns and is allowed to develop organic cracks and separations which occur naturally as the wood dries and shrinks. Our artisans then shape each piece. Time may accentuate their separations, or generate new ones. This movement is considered inherent to the natural beauty of the design.

CARE

Raw Wood Finish - Crafted with a completely natural, untreated wood surface, your piece will develop a rich, organic patina over time. To care for raw wood, simply dust with a dry, soft cloth. Spot cleaning may be done with a barely damp cloth, followed immediately by thorough drying. Avoid soaps, cleaning agents, ammonia, silicone, or any chemical cleaners, as unfinished wood is absorbent and may stain or discolor. If desired, periodic conditioning with a natural wax or mineral oil may be used to enhance protection, though it may subtly deepen the wood’s tone.
