Description
Moon Mirror is a colored mirror disk suspended in a frame. The frame defines the space of the object, which is no longer constrained. Wood, lacquer and glass are superimposed to create an object on the border between art and design, both a work of art and a design object, creating an ethereal reflection of reality through color. Reda Amalou has imagined a mirror in opposition to the classic mirror, which is traditionally defined by its frame. A piece combining simplicity and strength. The square, the round and the color oppose each other, adding a singular, poetic character and reinforcing the visual impact of the suspended mirror.
