This rare round Italian mirror dates to the 19th century and features an exquisitely carved giltwood frame with deeply modeled foliate and scrolling motifs. The circular form is both architectural and decorative, offering a strong visual presence while remaining elegant in proportion. The hand-carved ornamentation displays fine craftsmanship, with layered detailing that catches the light and enhances the original gilded surface.
