Beautiful rustic Tramp Art Mirror from the late 19th century in Austria, elaborately handcarved around 1890. This unique wall mirror impresses with its slim, chip carved designed frame, the famous "Tramp Art style" and combines a straight shape with slightly protruding, bevelled corners. The beautiful dark brown almost black looking surface has been finished with semi gloss varnish and reinforces the fantastic design of this unusual "notch cut" frame. The mirror plate has been renewed during the restoration process. A handforged ring on the back makes wall mounting easy.
