Description
Impressive circular mirror designed in the 1970s by Italian architect Vittorio Introini for Saporiti. Its chrome-plated steel structure consists of a frame and interior décor that divides the weathered ice into four distinct sections. The panels, securely attached to the back, can be dismantled to facilitate the handling of this imposing piece. With its exceptional diameter of 120 cm, this rare mirror combines modernity and refinement. The natural ageing of its tain, far from altering its beauty, on the contrary underlines its authenticity and character.
Designer: born in 1935, Vittorio Introini is an Italian architect and designer known for the boldness of his creations in the 1960s and 1970s. He signs emblematic pieces for publishers such as Cassina and Poltronova, including a chair that has become a pop culture icon. At the same time, he carried out interior design projects for Ferrari, Fiat and Alitalia, while teaching industrial design at the Politecnico di Milano. Two-time winner of the Compasso d’Oro (1969 and 1979), his work is now held in prestigious collections, including the MoMA and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
