1980s Italian : set 4 post modern solid steel and leather armchairs

Description
An unusual set of four postmodern armchairs 1970s-1980s that combined patinated steel construction with original cognac leather upholstery (great patina). Dramatic triangular side panels form the arms, each pierced with a graduated series of circular openings and extending below the seat to a pointed tip finished with a small metal sphere. The contrast between the upholstered seats and the architectural metalwork gives the chairs a distinctly sculptural character. Possibly Italian, late 20th century.
