6 Iron and Rattan Chairs, Brazil 1960s
-
Description
These six Brazilian chairs in iron and rattan, that resemble the work of designers Hauner and Eisler, have a modest and very modernist design that is as elemental as they come. The clear and open frame is balanced geometrically with the solid tapered legs. The two back legs are continuing upward to hold the slightly curved rattan backrest, giving comfort to the sitter. The rattan on these items has aged beautifully.
