Each long rustic bench features a narrow, solid elm plank seat displaying an exceptional historic grain and rich warm patina. The benches are raised on A-frame trestle-style legs reinforced by a low, full-length central stretcher bar, ensuring a sturdy and stable base. The wood displays an organic network of minor surface splits; importantly, these tight cracks do not penetrate the entire thickness of the seats, meaning they do not affect the structural integrity of the benches, but rather enhance the visual character with a striking natural pattern.

Because of their striking 118-inch scale, narrow profile, and rich historic patina, these French elm trestle benches function as both highly functional furniture and powerful architectural statements. They would complement a farmhouse dining table or flank an entry hall or mudroom for low profile seating.
