Elegant pair of French Napoleon III–period armchairs dating to circa 1860. Each chair features a rounded back with gracefully outstretched arms and a generously proportioned, deep cushioned seat designed for comfort and salon use. The chairs are raised on turned wooden legs, discreetly concealed by upholstered skirts, a hallmark of refined Second Empire seating.
