Description
A sculptural pair of Italian wingback lounge chairs, circa 1950s, defined by their dramatic silhouettes and finely crafted details. The high, flared backrests are framed with hand-carved barley twist woodwork, a nod to classical European craftsmanship, reimagined with modern restraint.
The dark stained frames taper to brass-capped legs, elevating the form with a touch of mid-century Italian glamour. Light, textured upholstery provides a striking contrast, enhancing the architectural lines while offering inviting comfort.
Both refined and expressive, these chairs embody the elegance of postwar Italian design—where tradition meets modernity, and function is elevated to art. -
