Rare Swedish painted daybed / settee dating to circa 1800, featuring a generous and hard-to-find length of 98 inches. The daybed retains its painted surface and is accompanied by newly recovered cushions, offering both historic character and refreshed comfort.

The elongated form and restrained Scandinavian design reflect the functional elegance of late 18th- to early 19th-century Swedish furniture. The back side is unfinished, consistent with period construction and indicating the piece was originally intended for placement against a wall.

An exceptional and versatile piece, well-suited for a bedroom, sunroom, or as a statement accent in a living space.
