          A UNUSUAL PAIR OF FRENCH ART DECO EBONISED ARMCHAIRS IN A CRUSHED VELVET

 A very comfortable pair of Art Deco 20th century ebonised armchairs upholstered in an off white crushed velvet.
 
 French Circa 1930-40.
 
 
 
 The design and shape of these chairs say it all, they have elegance and style.
 
 
 
 Having a sprung vase shaped inset square top back , the armrest scrolled and piped retaining a feathered cushion seat.
 
 Of U shape design having an ebonised front facade with shaped and tapered legs to the front and rear.
 
 
 
 Very stylish, these chairs having been upholstered in a top grade crushed velvet with the timber having been French polished to an excellent finish. These armchairs are extremely comfortable, they have a very soft sprung back with a large feathered cushion seat.
 
 
 
 Offered in excellent condition these unique and contemporary armchairs have a design we have not seen before and will work well in any contemporary setting.
