Description
The Adrian Pearsall Wave Chaise Lounge, originating from the 1970s and designed for Craft Associates, has recently been reupholstered using Knoll fabric. This chaise lounge is recognized for its iconic design.
Adrian Pearsall, who lived from 1925 to 2011, possessed a diverse background that encompassed training as an architectural engineer, as well as experiences as a sailor and interior designer. In 1952, he established his own furniture company called Craft Associates. Pearsall became renowned for his remarkable contributions to midcentury design, creating sensuous and elegant pieces that shared design aesthetics with the likes of Vladimir Kagan.
Pearsall's furniture designs are characterized by their flamboyant curves, upswept shapes, and stretched proportions, exemplifying his unique artistic vision and creative approach. -
