Description
The multi-talented award winning architect team of Afra (1937 -2011) & Tobia (n. 1935) Scarpa turned their postmodern design aesthetic into buildings, furniture, lighting and household object - always with a nod to new technical possibilities. This 3-seat sofa, model Bastiano was deigned in 1962 and has eight loose cushions in a gorgeous medium brown leather with nice patina. Simple square-form solid teakwood frame that is open at sides and back. Designed for and produced by Gavina in Italy, 1960s.
