Antique carved hardwood and upholstered Victorian stool
English, Late 19th Century
Height 37cm, width 120cm, depth 79cm
Finely carved and upholstered with an elegant floral period Victorian tapestry, this large, wide stool was made in England in the late 19th century. With a simple yet superbly executed structure, the large cushion on top, in fine condition, is mounted with a fine floral tapestry, allowing the piece in sum to embody the style, comfort, and homeliness of antique Victorian pieces. -
