A pair of Maletak armchairs designed by Bořek Šípek for the Italian Maletti manufactory in 1992. These armchairs exude a sense of baroque opulence in their design language. Covered in red faux leather, the black side sections artfully imitate tufted upholstered furniture. The slender metal legs, curling up like volutes, further evoke references to the Baroque era. Bořek Šípek's Maletak armchairs are not just functional seating but also stand as bold statements of design, seamlessly blending modern aesthetics with historical inspiration.
