Scandinavian Modern pioneer Arne Norell created casual and sexy designs that emphasized comfort. This model "Ilona" lounge chair (originally designed in 1971) is constructed to have flexibility of design without screws or glue - instead focusing on leather strapping and dowel construction. This classic chair is all original with four loose cushions in a period floral upholstery over black saddle leather support and a solid dark-stained beechwood frame. Produced by Arne Norell AB in Aneby, Sweden, later production.
