Description
Wonderful, rare and very comfortable original Biedermeier chaise lounge / daybed from Southwest Germany circa 1820.
Walnut solid wood, French polished with shellac. On one side, there are two pressed brass rosettes. The side with the rosettes has a quite plain grain of the wood, while the other side without rosettes is more vivid. Around the legs, there are thin inlays of ebony.
The chaise longue has been newly upholstered with a grey fabric and keder.
The roll at the legs can be turned. There are two polstered rolls, one for each side, included. -
