Rocking chair designed by California designer Gerald McCabe for Brown Saltman c.1960. The sling seat is upholstered in the original channel backed black vinyl, which slips onto a round bar steel frame with walnut arms. Flat-bar steel frame connects to walnut rockers. The frame has been polished and wood restored. The upholstery in remarkably good original condition with very minor wear consistent with age.
