A set of six Model SMI 110 dining chairs by Åby Möbelfabrik, Sweden, 1940s. A great example of Sportstugemöble or Sports Cabin Furniture made popular by Axel Einar Hjorth in the 1930s designed for holiday cabins popular in Sweden at the time. Simple design featuring grab handles in the back. Made from solid pine, in very good condition. SMI stamp still visible on the underside of some chairs.
