Description
Often replicated, never duplicated, the wishbone chair. Few chairs are as recognizable as Hans Wegner's wishbone chair. With the back spine of the chair pronged like a wishbone, clean lines and paper-cord seats, these chairs are timelessly modern and can effortlessly blend into any modern and contemporary environment.
This specific set of wishbone dining chairs came out of an estate in Beverly Hills, where they had one owner who used these chairs for the past 6 decades. These chairs are perfect for the savvy design lover who enjoys having pieces of heirloom Danish furniture that have rich patina and wear that can only come with being well loved for decades.
This set of Oak wishbone dining chairs by Hans Wegner would look incredible if paired with a Finn Juhl dining table, or perhaps a Hans Olsen table. These chairs are effortlessly modern and would also look incredible paired with a black or glass parsons dining table. A wonderful patinated set of iconic dining chairs. One of the chairs still bears the original tag. -
