Carl-Johan Bowman exceptionally rare "Fexible Chair" circa 1930 made for N. Bomanin at Höyrypuusepäntehdas, Turku, Finland. The chair features a cantilever seat and is constructed from solid and bent birch with a walnut brown stain. The seat cushion has been newly upholstered in medium brown suede, the wood frame newly refinished. This chair model was created in a limited number of approximately 20 pieces. The maker Höyrypuusepäntehdas is noted for producing furniture for Eliel Saarinen.
