-
Description
A superb pair of ‘802’ model armchairs designed by Carlo De Carli for the ‘Hotel Parco Dei Principi’ in Sorrento, Italy. The Parco Dei Principi was designed and conceived in 1960 by Carlo’s good friend, Gio Ponti, and was furnished with many of Ponti’s celebrated furniture designs along with a few choice pieces by De Carli – these chairs being one example. Sitting on four walnut tapered legs, these impressive, yet elegant chairs have been completely restored and re-upholstered using the finest off-white mohair wool fabric from Dedar, Milano. A matching two-seat sofa is also available.
