Description
Odyssey Bench
Available in four standard sizes: Series 48, Series 60, Series 72, and Series 96, with custom sizing also available.
The Odyssey Bench is a sculptural study in movement, proportion, and architectural balance. Defined by its elongated upholstered seat and distinctive solid-wood base, the design pairs a strong horizontal silhouette with gracefully shaped legs that curve inward beneath the seat. An integrated stretcher runs the length of the frame, visually connecting the supports while adding both structural integrity and a sense of continuity.
The contrast between the clean, tailored upholstery and the expressive geometry of the wood base gives Odyssey its distinctive character. From the more compact Series 48 to the dramatic proportions of the Series 96, the design maintains a sense of lightness despite its substantial presence.
Equally suited to the foot of a bed, an entryway, hallway, or living space, the Odyssey Bench can function as a quiet architectural accent or a statement piece depending on its scale, finish, and upholstery.
Customization — Bespoke Experience
The Odyssey Bench is designed to be tailored to each project. Choose from our four standard lengths—48", 60", 72", and 96"—or specify a custom size to suit your space.
Select from our available wood species and hand-applied finishes, and personalize the upholstered seat with one of our curated textiles or your own material (COM). Each combination of scale, wood finish, and upholstery gives Odyssey a distinctly different character while preserving the defining architecture of the original design.

Designer Story — Carlos Solano
Carlos Solano’s approach to design is rooted in the balance that defines mid-century modernism—simple forms elevated by rich, honest materials. Each piece begins with these timeless principles but is thoughtfully adapted for modern living. His design language is marked by architectural lines, natural materials, and quiet restraint, where a single thoughtful detail can define the whole.
The Odyssey Bench reflects this philosophy through the interplay of its long horizontal seat, sculptural curved supports, and continuous wood stretcher. Rather than relying on ornamentation, its identity comes from proportion, material, and the subtle movement created by its frame.
The Studio Originals collection embodies this philosophy. Conceived to offer timeless mid-century foundations, each piece invites clients to make it their own through bespoke customization. No two spaces or clients are alike, and this adaptability ensures every design feels both personal and enduring. -
