Set of six chairs model 412 D11 Cab production Cassina design Mario Bellini, year 1977. Metal frame and leather-coloured upholstery closed with zips.
His activity as a designer began in 1963 as an industrial design consultant for Olivetti and continued with other Italian and international companies (B&B,Cassina, Heller, Brionvega, Flou, Fujifilm, Yamaha, Renault, Rosenthal, Tecno, Riva 1920, Vitra, Kartell, Horm,).He is present with 25 works in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, which dedicated a personal retrospective to him in 1987.Among his main achievements
1965: Olivetti Programma 101, the first Personal Computer in history
1972: Kar-a-sutra, precursor concept of the modern MPV, produced with Cassina for Italy: the New Domestic Landscape at the MoMa in New York
1977: Sedia 412 Cab, iconic chair of Italian design, realised with Cassina.
1987: Olivetti ETP 55, electronic typewriter
