Description
A complete table and dessert service, consisting of 153 pieces of silver cutlery (weight 10,2kg) , housed in an elegant, antique carved wooden display cabinet/canteen dating back to the early 1900s. The container presents itself as a cabinet resting on four turned legs, crafted from solid wood. The structure is divided into an upper compartment with a hinged lid and a removable lower drawer. The internal compartments are shaped and lined with velvet fabric (blue and burgundy) to ensure the optimal storage and organization of the cutlery.
The composition of the service, totaling 153 pieces, is as follows: 24 Dinner Knives, 24 Dinner Forks, 24 Dinner Spoons, 12 Tea Spoons, 12 Ice Cream Spoons, 12 Fish Forks, 12 Fish Knives, 12 Dessert Forks, 12 Fruit Forks, and 9 assorted Serving Utensils.
The item is complete in all its parts, and the cutlery is made of silver. The wooden canteen shows the natural patina of time, consistent with its age and provenance from the first quarter of the 20th century.
