CHARLES RAMOS FRENCH LOUNGE CHAIRS
Charles Ramos, pair of lounge chairs, redone in Italian wool blend bouclé on gilded aluminum legs. Minimal, elegant, graceful and yet comfortable. Coming from a cabinetmaker family, Charles Ramos was a self taught designer and interior architect, beginning his career at the age of 25, in 1950. His agency editor was M. Castellanetta through the 1970's. He first exhibited at the "Salon des artistes decorateurs" in 1952 and began a collaboration with Louis Baillon as an interior designer. After their amicable separation, he meets and collaborates with Jaques Biny on lighting projects.

Pavilion is the collective vision of Deborah Colman and Neil Kraus, both graduates of the master of fine arts program at the Art Institute of Chicago.
