Superb Chippendale bench in oak from the 18th century from England
Very beautiful large bench which was at the time placed in front of the bedrooms in the large English castles. The bench is quite wide since the domestics often slept on them.
It has a very beautiful base with curved feet typical of Chippendale period furniture
The backrest is decorated with 5 macaroons which gives it a lot of charm
In superb condition and beautiful patina
We placed a red fabric on it to give an idea of what it would look like with a seating -
