Description
This sculptural modular sofa by Claudio Vagnoni, from Italy dates to the 1970s and reflects the decade’s expressive approach to comfort and form. Composed of five individual sections, the design allows for flexible arrangements while maintaining a cohesive, flowing silhouette. The low profile, rounded volumes, and softly segmented backrests create a relaxed yet architectural presence.
Upholstered in a warm, velvety fabric, the sofa emphasizes depth and texture, enhancing its enveloping character. Generous proportions and deep seating underscore its lounge-oriented design, typical of Italian interiors of the period. Both functional and visually engaging, this modular sofa works equally well as a centerpiece in a living space or in a more expansive, open-plan interior, embodying the bold comfort and experimentation of 1970s Italian design. - More Information
