Rare set of Cushman Colonial Creations seating: 2 chairs, one armchair footstool or side table. Beautifully carved maple in excellent original condition with original patina. Original tags. In 1933, the H.T. Cushman Company introduced Cushman Colonial Creations, a new line of colonial style furniture designed by Herman DeVries to appeal to modern tastes. It featured rounded edges and a reddish maple color and proved to be very popular. It was the company's trademark line for three decades.
