Description
Striking cantilever lounge chair designed by renowned American designer Dan Johnson. This example is a limited-production 2002 reissue of a rare design originally conceived in the 1950s.
The chair features a coral-painted tubular bent steel frame with vinyl rope wrapping around the seat, back, and arms, creating a sculptural silhouette that balances mid-century modern design with exceptional comfort. Produced in Los Angeles using period-correct construction methods and materials, this chair faithfully captures the character of the original 1950s series while offering the durability of newer production.
Ideal as a statement piece for both indoor and outdoor settings, the chair's cantilevered form and vibrant coral finish make it highly collectible and visually distinctive.
