Danish Modern, Honey Shearling, Oak, Sofa, Denmark, 1940s
Danish modern sofa designed by an unknown cabinetmaker and produced in Denmark in the first half of the 20th century. Three seater sofa having a new genuine honey sheepskin upholstery, soft curves, and four oak legs. Horse hair was used previously to stuff the sides of the arms of this example - indicative of high quality seating from the mid-century time period.
